Frequently Asked Questions ]
1. What is ontological coaching and how
is it different from other kinds
of life coaching?
In addition to coaching a client to create
breakthrough results, an ontological coach focuses on who the client is
being that is in the way of the results they wish to achieve. They get
the client to see how they currently operate that is not powerful and
get them to practice more powerful ways of being.
2. How long does coaching take?
People engage a coach for several months
or several years, depending upon either the scope of the projects the
client creates or the desire for continued breakthroughs in their lives.
3. How much time does coaching take?
Most coaching sessions are weekly for one
hour, with a total of four sessions per month. The coach will assign practices
for the client to do between sessions to keep the client moving forward.
The amount of time practices take will depend upon the results the client
wishes to achieve.
4. How much does coaching cost?
Prices can vary from $500 to $3,000 a month
and up, depending upon the coach’s experience and the kind of coaching
they do (life coaching versus executive or organizational coaching).
5. How soon will I see results when
I engage a coach?
It depends on the individual. Most people
see immediate results. The ontological focus on being as the basis for
action gets people to notice quickly how they are the source of what is
not working in their lives and inspires them to move rapidly to practice
new ways of being to get the results they want.
